BACK CARE PROGRAM
This program has been used and tested by Janice Webber, PT, when she worked in the UK and Australia. The population is clients with recurrent back pain who are not candidates for surgery or who have already had back surgery. The clients have tried a wide range of therapies that may or may not have been a help in reducing their reoccurrence of LBP.
The program consists of education, exercise with pre and post testing of baselines, and relaxation training.
The clients are expected to do relaxation practice and daily exercise while monitoring their pain levels. This program consists of 6 sessions that take place once a week.
